These AmazingMoving Belt Adjustable Straps are perfect for helping provide leverage to any item that you need to carry. These straps make anything you're carrying feel 66% lighter! Like a forearm forklift, these adjustable belt straps work wonders for carrying anything, from small to large items. They also encourage proper lifting techniques. Your order comes complete with both Moving Belt Adjustable Straps. Each strap measures 9'4" long and can be adjusted up to 48 inches!
The Moving Belt Adjustable Straps have been rated for carrying items up to 700 lbs!
It works, it's tough, that's what matters right?
The multiple loops for your forearms are a nice adjustment tool, the lengths you get can be a bit awkward depending on what you're lifting with one option being too short for comfort and the next option too long, but that's the problem with universal tools like this.
It helped me get a double vanity unit into the bathroom a lot more easily than carrying it by hand could have and it shows no signs of use after that, so I can't complain.
The only problem I have with these is that when my 6'4" brother and myself (also 6'4") both use them on anything super big, we need about 2-3 more feet of strap to properly use them with our forearms. If you, unlike me, have normally sized arms - these will save your entire move, and most importantly - your back! NO wear and tear that I've noticed. I think they are quite comfortable to wear. They really help with some of the more awkward furniture - especially through doorways!
In the right situation, these are incredible! I have found a few inconvenient situations for these - moving a mattress down the stairs, and moving a washing machine onto a pedestal (easier to just grab the handles on the washer). However, if you are just moving something from point A to B (house to moving truck) and there aren’t a lot of steps, tight corners, or stairways involved, these are amazing. Well worth the small cost, and a great thing for a homeowner to have around just in case!
These things work. I was a bit skeptical, but they really do work. Here's the deal - you'll probably find some online videos explaining how these things are awesome and they'll make moving heavy objects look easy, but that's not necessarily the case. Moving heavy objects is a lot easier...but you still have to be able to handle the weight. If you're weak, guess what? You ain't moving a baby grand piano, forearm straps or not.
The weight you lift doesn't magically disappear, it just gets transferred in such a way that it becomes a lot easier to manage. You still have to lift properly (use legs, not back, etc.) and get positioned properly. If you don't these things lose their effectiveness fast. These straps are especially helpful with large, bulky objects whether they're heavy or not. I used these to move a sofa, a sofa bed, a dresser, two chests of drawers (full of clothes), two queen-sized beds and a baby grand. Everything was fairly easy, but the baby grand, even with the straps, was tough because it is so heavy, but we were able to manage. Without the straps, it would have been MUCH MUCH worse.
We bought these because we are in the process of purchasing a new king mattress. We are testing out some bed in a box types and moving them once they are opened is a beastly job. Many mattresses don’t come with handles anymore, and even if they do they usually can’t support the weight of a king.
This tool is amazing. Simply make an X on the floor, put the mattress on top, put your arms through the holes and lift from your legs. My husband is 6” taller than I am and we carried it together easily.
These take up very little room in a garage or closet but I know they are going to come in very handy when moving anything big!
My husband purchased these so we could move a chest freezer from our garage to our basement. Now, let me tell you. I avoid work like the plague. I'm not built for moving stuff. I came up with every excuse I could not to move the freezer.
It was when these forearm forklift moving straps arrived that I knew I had lost and was going to have to woman up and help him move the thing. While I can admit, I won't be putting chest freezer moving on my resumé, these did work nicely for a moron who really has no business moving anything. So, if you're moving, these might just be your very best friend!
We recently moved in quick succession. Our first, move we paid movers and noticed their straps for heavy and awkward items. It made perfect sense when we had to move again to use the same straps and it was a back saver. Mattresses, dressers, you name it, my kids were even able to help. For the price and the function, it's worth it to get these.
I purchased this to move a large flat screen TV and the TV stand that the TV will sit on. The moving straps work well for these purposes. I really like that you can lift with your arms while leaving your hands free for limited use with the component being moved.
We got these for a move and they helped SO much! I don’t know how I ever moved without them. However, they didn’t really help when going up stairs. We typically had to just pick things up the old fashioned way to go up stairs. Our mattress was the only thing we could use these for on stairs.
Allowed me and my wife to lift a full sized freezer up basement steps, across a yard, and into the Uhaul. Would not have been possible without this and the Moving Belt Adjustable Straps. Holding onto the furniture can be a little difficult when we were unsure of which strap loop to put our forearms into. We just took it slow and said "hey, I don't have leverage on this side, let me put my arms into the lower strap."
Would purchase again.
